Hobeaus Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 1st , 2050 It's the better-luck-next-time point of the season for the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus. The club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today, and will turn their attention to next year's campaign. "You know, the average player doesn't get that many seasons, so every time you're eliminated, it hurts," said Hobeaus closer Bruno Dares. In their 10 seasons in USPL Single A, the Hobeaus have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. |
