Chicago Starter Named PA's Premier Pitcher Thursday, September 1st , 2050 A 4-1 record with a 1.35 ERA is a good month for most any pitcher. The USPL Single A thought it was worthy of an award and named Stanton Maxwell, starter for the Chicago Tula, August's Pitcher of the Month. He also held the opposition to a .187 average while posting 28 strikeouts in 33.1 innings. Presently Maxwell has a 6-4 mark in 18 starts with a 3.45 ERA. He has given up 97 hits in 107 innings, struck out 107 and issued 22 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .238 batting average against him. |
