Myrtle Beach's Rosário to Miss Season Tuesday, August 23rd , 2050 The doctors have spoken and José Rosário of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rosário sustained his season-ending injury during the Huntington Hermit Crabs game yesterday at Seahwaks Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Myrtle Beach medical staff reported Rosário had a torn posterior cruciate ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months. Currently Rosário is batting .263 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
