Lumsden Wins Best Bat Award in July Monday, August 1st , 2050 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Les Lumsden has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Athletic Club KC U-24 star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the USPL Single A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .291 average with 10 home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. For the year Lumsden is batting .270 with 23 home runs. |
