Maisanaba of Idaho Falls Crowned Best Player Monday, July 25th , 2050 A hot-hitting week got Oliver Maisanaba the USPL Single A Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Idaho Falls first baseman slammed them for a .500 average, 7 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Maisanaba shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." Currently Maisanaba has 7 home runs and a .251 batting average. |
