PA Trophy Goes to Garavini of Smoky Mountain Monday, July 18th , 2050 Gustave Garavini went on a week-long batting spree against USPL Single A pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy. The Smoky Mountain third baseman battered the opposition for 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. He hit .478 and posted a .520 on-base percentage. Thus far this season in 59 games Garavini is batting .266 with 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 214 at-bats. |
