Vowles, Lems Suspended for Fracas Saturday, June 25th , 2050 If there wasn't a history between Joseph Vowles of Cut Off and Richie Lems of Athletic Club KC, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Vowles said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this year, Vowles is batting .196 with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
