South Beach Sweeps Kingston Friday, September 9th , 2050 The South Beach Blaze ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Kingston Mangos 8-0 to win the SL A Championship. South Beach won the series 2-0, capturing the title for the 15th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said South Beach manager Vicente RodrÃguez. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 65-31 and claimed first place in the Silver A. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and first baseman Shichirobei Hisamatsu said the Blaze have "great fans and they deserve this."
