Johnson Best SA Starter Monday, August 1st , 2050 The USSL Single A hitters didn't have a chance in July when the Kingston Mangos manager wrote "Johnson" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, Ronald Johnson held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and 1.05 ERA in 6 starts. The talented Mangos star pitched 43 innings, fanned 42 and held opposing teams to a .171 average. For his superb mound work Johnson was named the SA Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This year Johnson has compiled a 12-0 record with a 1.55 ERA in 17 starts. |
