Bullets Go 10 Innings to Beat Seattle, 4-3
|
The Baltimore Bullets picked up a win at Boeing Dome, knocking off the Seattle Rocketeers, 4-3. Starting pitcher River Rosa was a big reason why. Baltimore reliever Thomas Rice picked up the win, raising his record to 5-2. Joe Boyle was tagged with the loss. Baltimore, at 50-42, holds down second place in the Silver League.
Baltimore used a clutch hit from Benjamin Bays to get the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bullets ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
In postgame remarks, Rosa simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
