Rocketeers Walk It Off for 48th Win of Season
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Seattle Rocketeers and the Baltimore Bullets, pitcher Howard Randolph was the difference between victory and defeat. The Seattle right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Rocketeers win. With this game in the books, Seattle is 48-43, Baltimore 49-42.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Seattle trailing 2-1, Tim Walker jumped on a first pitch fastball from Sidd Finch for a 2-run home run, sending the Rocketeers to a walk-off win.
"This place was electric at the end," Randolph said.
