Las Vegas catcher Joy-shan Tung made his presence felt in the 6-4 Flamingos triumph over the Vancouver Grey Wolves. Tung was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Miguel Pérez picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 6 in 6.1 innings. Don Williams closed the door for Las Vegas, picking up his 24th save of the year.

In the top of the sixth, the Flamingos grabbed the lead when Tung hit his 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Harry Richter made it 5-3, Las Vegas.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager David Krause. "But it's got to translate into wins."

Las Vegas, at 41-41, holds down 5th place in the Silver League.
