Lakers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Bullets
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Echo Park Lakers and Baltimore Bullets.
In a low-scoring clash between Echo Park and Baltimore, pitcher Lance Barber was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 3-1 win. Barber, now 2-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Danny Kas recorded the save, his 15th.
The Lakers prevailed in a game in which the pitchers had the upper hand.
"We put together a nice win," Barber said.
