6-3 Loss Deepens Echo Park Funk
|
Baltimore first baseman An-te-hai Qing was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Echo Park Lakers. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Baltimore. River Rosa, the winner, improved to 1-0. He held the Lakers to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The losing skid has reached 7 games for Echo Park.
Qing put Baltimore up, 5-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Mitch Ivey in the top of the second. His 9th home run of the season helped the Bullets capture the win.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Qing.
