White Walkers Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 3-0
|
The Buffalo White Walkers moved to within one game of the Tournament of Champions today, downing the Colorado Billy Goats on the road at Grazing Hills by a score of 4-1. White Walkers left-hander Bhagavan Antle had a strong outing. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The win gives the White Walkers a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC Semi-Finals.
Buffalo used the bat of Mitsuoki Kogawa to capture the win. The shortstop jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"We'll savor this win," Antle told the Buffalo Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."
