Tejano, Billy Goats Sink Patriots Again in Game 2
|
The Colorado Billy Goats moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals today, downing the visiting Boston Patriots at Grazing Hills by a score of 7-4. Billy Goats second baseman Mhelter Tejano did some major damage. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The win gives the Billy Goats a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.
Tejano contributed in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Colorado get the win.
"We haven't stopped playing," Boston manager Tyler Carter said. "We didn't get this far to give up."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 1st , 2050 at Dunkin Donuts Park in Boston.
