Hisamatsu Blasts Mangos, Blaze Take Game 1, 4-3
A clutch 9th inning gave the South Beach Blaze a walk-off win over the Kingston Mangos and a 1-0 lead in the SL A Championship at The Ballpark on the Beach today. Young designated hitter Shichirobei Hisamatsu, 23, earned accolades after he was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Hisamatsu hit a fastball from Ronald Johnson for a run-scoring double. The Blaze, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's hard to overstate how much this mattered to us, especially in a short series," South Beach manager Vicente Rodríguez said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Ballpark on the Beach in South Beach.
