Okubo Plays Big Role in MSL Las Vegas Win
|
MSL Ft. Worth had no answer for MSL Las Vegas Flamingos hurler Akihito Okubo, who overwhelmed Cattlemen hitters as the Flamingos coasted to victory, 6-0. The win gives the Flamingos a record of 15-30.
Okubo dominated for MSL Las Vegas, raising his record to 1-0. MSL Ft. Worth hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 8.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Okubo.
