In a low-scoring tilt between the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen and the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos, Anatolii Zhashkov was the difference-maker. The MSL Ft. Worth right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Esteban Aguilar closed it out for his 8th save. MSL Ft. Worth is now 20-24, while MSL Las Vegas is 14-30.
The Cattlemen got a big at-bat from second baseman Luis López. For the game, López went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 8th home run of the season gave MSL Ft. Worth a 1-0 lead.
"Anatolii is tough when he's hitting his spots," said MSL Ft. Worth manager Mike Simpson.
