In a tight contest at Dunkin Donuts Park, the Cape Coral Hurricanes edged the Boston Patriots by the score of 5-4. Cape Coral center fielder Kane Blackwood, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Cape Coral now sits in 7th place in the Silver League at 33-36.

Blackwood had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the first inning, when he hit a double. The Hurricanes went on to win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Boston manager Tyler Carter.
