Bullets Take Down Flamingos, 3-2
|
The MSL Baltimore Bullets faced a tough opponent in MSL Las Vegas pitcher Adrian Taylor, but did just enough to pull out the victory at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark by a final score of 3-2. Taylor went 7 innings and allowed no runs. MSL Baltimore reliever Donatello Capano picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Amadeo González absorbed the loss. The Bullets move to 29-13 with the win, while the Flamingos drop to 14-28.
MSL Baltimore used the timely hitting of Yerson Acevedo to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bullets on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I was a little disappointed," said MSL Las Vegas manager Ben Cooper. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
