Cattlemen Knock Off Patriots at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark
Getting a good performance from right fielder Ramón Cruz, the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the MSL Boston Patriots, 9-7. Cruz was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Cattlemen. Yasuo Yoshida earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The win gives the Cattlemen a record of 7-13.

Arturo Bautista took Juan Carrillo deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run home run put the Cattlemen on top, 9-7. In all, Bautista had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Cattlemen manager Mike Simpson. "This one was nice to get."
