The MSL Las Vegas Flamingos picked up a win at MSL Las Vegas Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 2-1. Starting pitcher Artie Parker was an essential part of his team's success. Zhi-huan Qing notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. Jens van de Vlugt got the save, the 4th for him this season.

Some sloppy defense hurt the Kingfishers. In the bottom of the seventh, with MSL Las Vegas trailing 1-0, Tom Clark was at the plate when MSL Las Vegas scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Flamingos to go in front, 2-1.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Flamingos manager Ben Cooper, "I like our chances."

The Flamingos move to 9-11 with the win, while the Kingfishers drop to 8-12.
