Kingfishers Score Late, Topple Grey Wolves, 5-2

MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers starter Jorge Martínez turned in an exceptional performance against the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark, resulting in a MSL Pittsburgh win, 5-2. The Kingfishers' win now puts them at 7-10.
The game was at a stalemate until left fielder José De La Cruz came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing MSL Vancouver pitcher Francisco Rodríguez, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting MSL Pittsburgh on top, 2-1.
"I felt good up there," said De La Cruz. "I saw the ball well."
