Patriots Suffer 5-3 Setback
|
Natalino Desidrio did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the MSL Boston Patriots from losing, 5-3, to the MSL Baltimore Bullets at MSL Boston Ballpark. Desidrio was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. MSL Baltimore has an impressive 12-4 record.
The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Zhen-bang Meng came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing MSL Boston pitcher Tony Arce, he hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting MSL Baltimore on top, 5-3.
Meng said his team "played with focus."
