Grey Wolves Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Kingfishers, 4-2
MSL Vancouver beat MSL Pittsburgh on the strength of starter Kanzaburo Ichikawa's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. MSL Vancouver pitcher Bill Anderson got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Juan Rodríguez got the loss. MSL Pittsburgh has now lost 5 consecutive games.

MSL Vancouver used the timely hitting of Sen Otsuka to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Grey Wolves on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Ichikawa told the MSL Vancouver Bulletin.
