Lighthouse Suffer 5-4 Loss to Flamingos
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse got a superb performance from shortstop Vasa Andric. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Las Vegas. The Flamingos won the game, 5-4. Andric went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. MSL Long Island's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

The Flamingos got a big hit from shortstop José Randín. In the bottom of the sixth, Randín smacked a 2-run double off MSL Long Island pitcher Toshiki Matsushita. It was his 2nd double of the season. Suddenly, the Flamingos were ahead, 5-4.

"They played a better game than we did," said MSL Long Island skipper Chad Graves.
