MSL D.C. pitcher Steve Randolph did his part in helping his team beat the MSL Charleston Battery, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The first-place Divided have a one-game lead in their division.

The Battery had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Divided going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old third baseman Vicente Aguilar came to the plate. Aguilar hit a 2-run double on a full count cutter from MSL Charleston hurler Oeke Markus. It was Aguilar's 6th double of the year.

"We did enough to win," said Aguilar.
