MSL Las Vegas pinch hitter Xie-li Wa was sensational. He went 1-1 with a home run, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. MSL Boston beat the Flamingos, 2-1. Mario Ríos earned the save for MSL Boston, his 1st of the year. With the win, MSL Boston goes to 5-1.

The Patriots grabbed the lead in the top of the sixth. With no one out, Gonzalo Zarauza hit a solo home run off Al Leonard, putting MSL Boston in front, 2-0. For Zarauza, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Zarauza told the MSL Boston Observer. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
