The MSL Cleveland Browns topped the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 8-4, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Cleveland Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of MSL Cleveland pitcher Santiago Martínez. Vincente Esparza came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The loss drops the Cattlemen to 1-4.

Marcel Bello hit a run-scoring double off Anatolii Zhashkov in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Browns in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Bello had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
