MSL Boston Gets 8-6 Win
The MSL Boston Patriots topped the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos by a score of 8-6. Leading the way was center fielder Esteban Mejía. Mejía was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Patriots. Tony Arce came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits in 4.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. José Carlos closed it out for his 1st save.

MSL Boston needed the clutch hitting of José Rojas to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Patriots on top, 7-6. For the game, Rojas had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Patriots manager David Henderson. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The loss drops MSL Las Vegas to 0-4.
