Multi-HR Game for Rosas in 7-0 Win

The MSL Hollywood Shredders beat the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 7-0, at MSL Mississippi Ballpark. MSL Hollywood designated hitter Gerardo Rosas had an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Pedro Hernández. He's now 6-5. He went 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits for the Shredders. With the win, MSL Hollywood goes to 25-23, while the Mockingbirds fall to 23-25.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Shredders had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the second, when left fielder Jesús De La Garza hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Reynaldo López and made the score 1-0, Shredders. De La Garza went 1 for 5.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said MSL Mississippi manager Ken McDowell.
