The MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds overcame a fine performance by MSL Nova Scotia right fielder Caspar Lau to defeat the Leviathin, 6-5, at MSL San Mateo Ballpark. Lau went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. MSL San Mateo currently is in first place in the PL MSL at 25-19.

Chipping in for MSL San Mateo was center fielder Andrew Perkins. He stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, Perkins went 1 for 5.

"Not to put too fine a point on it," said Perkins, "but we really needed that win."
