Harrison Shines in 7-2 MSL San Mateo Win
MSL San Mateo first baseman John Harrison helped his team beat the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 7-2. Harrison, who is tied for 5th in the PMSL in triples with 2, went 3 for 3 for the Dirty Reds. Morgan Evison, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 5-2. The save was credited to Yo Suzuki, his 1st.

The Dirty Reds got an important contribution from third baseman Larry Matthews, who in the top of the first punched a 2-2 fastball into left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Dirty Reds ahead, 3-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Matthews told the MSL San Mateo Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The 5th-place White Walkers have dropped 5 straight games.
