The MSL Hollywood Shredders went home winners at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Pedro Hernández. Hernández stifled the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin, enabling MSL Hollywood to grab the 1-0 win. Juan Galván finished to wrap up his 8th save. MSL Nova Scotia has now lost 4 consecutive games.
The Shredders got an important contribution from first baseman Lou de Klerk, who in the top of the fifth knocked a first pitch curveball into left-center for a solo home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 1-0.
Afterward, Shredders manager Andrés Pérez was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
