White Walkers Win, 8-3, at MSL Mississippi
|
A 4-RBI performance from Pat Martin, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL with a .337 batting average, helped the MSL Buffalo White Walkers beat the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds, 8-3. Roberto Hernández, the winning pitcher, improved to 4-1. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 3. The White Walkers now own a record of 11-11.
Emory Frost contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat that helped MSL Buffalo get the win.
"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Frost told the MSL Buffalo Herald.
