The MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin got a strong performance from pitcher Narahiko Takahashi, who stymied the MSL Colorado offense en route to a win, 5-2, at MSL Colorado Ballpark. The triumph puts MSL Nova Scotia at 11-8 for the season.
MSL Nova Scotia relied on the hitting of Efren Cereza to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Leviathin on top, 2-0. For the game, Cereza had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Takahashi said.
