The Hollywood Shredders got a superb performance from pitcher Larry Benítez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Nova Scotia. The Leviathan won the game, 3-2. Benítez threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Hollywood drops to 5-11.

The Leviathan were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when right fielder Benedito Ahulani turned a first pitch fastball from Jeffery Meyers into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double electrified the The Dungeon in Halifax denizens and sent the Leviathan home with a thrilling 3-2 win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Ahulani after the game.
