Sea Dogs Cut Down Beavers, 7-2
|
Maine and Northwest Territory got after it at Sea Dogs Park.
The Maine Sea Dogs racked up a win at Sea Dogs Park, bumping off the Northwest Territory Beavers, 7-2. Dale Burney, who started for Maine, pitched effectively for his team. Maine is 6th in the Menard's Low A with a record of 34-38.
Su-shun Hung made an early impact for Maine when he stroked his 19th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with one out in the bottom of the third, put the Sea Dogs on top, 2-0.
"I liked his command," said Maine manager Carlos Soto. "Dale was throwing strikes."
