Pitcher Yifu Kelly was sensational for the Northwest Territory Beavers in his team's 6-1 triumph over the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. Kelly picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Jamie Munn nailed down his 2nd save. The 7th-place Snowpeople have dropped 4 straight games.

Kwang-ho Won, the 19-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Won contributed a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to put Northwest Territory up, 6-0.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Kelly.
