Vancouver and Boston duked it out and the Grey Wolves came out victorious.

The Vancouver Grey Wolves topped the Boston Patriots, 4-1, in United States Silver League action at Dunkin Donuts Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Vancouver pitcher Yaichiro Shini. The winning pitcher was Shini, now 4-4. He tossed 5.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. Earning his 1st save of the year was Michael Knight.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Wen Mi to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Grey Wolves ahead, 4-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Mi.

Vancouver now has a 3-game win streak.
