Snowpeople Suffer 6-0 Loss to Long Island
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople and Long Island Ducks get after it.
Getting an impressive start from Andrew MacEwen, Long Island beat Ellesmere Island by the score of 6-0. The win puts Long Island at 33-19 this season.
Dan Love, the Long Island catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to make the score 2-0, Ducks. For the game, Love went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Andrew -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Ducks manager Jay Smith. "He was the key to us winning."
