Octopi Find a Way to Win
Ogallala right-hander Sidney Jones helped his team edge Fort Knox by the score of 3-2. Jones kept the opposing lineup in check. Waweru Kamili picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Matt Johns was tagged with the loss. The Octopi are now 46-46, while the Centennial fall to 76-16.

Chuk-yan Lau found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Fort Knox hurler Matt Johns, the 19-year-old first baseman hit a sacrifice fly. His 29th RBI of the season put the Octopi on top, 3-2.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Jones said.
