Dirty Reds Sneak By White Walkers, 4-3
The San Mateo Dirty Reds did just enough to sneak past the Buffalo White Walkers, 4-3, at Lang Park. San Mateo pitcher José Hernández, in particular, had a standout performance. Monte Evans earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. San Mateo sits at 9-7.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with San Mateo trailing 3-2, Ronald Dacanay hit a fastball from Juan Luis Matos for a 2-run home run, giving the Dirty Reds the walk-off win.

"This place sure got loud," said David Dodds, the San Mateo manager.
