Eduardo Garduño was locked and loaded, helping the Ogallala Octopi beat the Shady Side Zoomies, 2-1. Ogallala pitcher Jake Hammond got the win, upping his record to 3-3. Carl Dodd got the loss. The 4th-place Octopi are 42-41.

The clutch hit was provided by Bob Beatty. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Carl Dodd in the bottom of the 11th.
