Bullets Pull Even With 4-2 Victory
|
Baltimore Bullets starter Kevin Brown pitched a strong game against the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at The Cattle Pen, leading the Bullets to victory, 4-2. Brown, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Thomas Rice closed the game out for Baltimore, earning his 2nd save.
The Bullets had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Baltimore, with one out. Ft. Worth, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Hung-chang Chang dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch cutter, he grounded out.
The win puts Baltimore at 21-21 this season.
