Pitcher Sidney Jones was sensational for the Ogallala Octopi in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Germantown Uruguayans. Jones picked up the win, and it was well-earned. After today's action, Ogallala sits at 40-37, while Germantown falls to 29-48.

Jones allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. He also racked up 11 strikeouts.

"Sidney -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Octopi manager Félix Cruz. "He was the key to us winning."
