The Germantown Uruguayans bested the Ogallala Octopi by a score of 6-4, with right fielder Tae-seon P'yon getting the main credit. On the day, P'yon went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Uruguayans. Germantown reliever Juan Vera picked up the win to move to 4-2. Guy Kooijmans suffered the loss. Earning his 2nd save for Germantown was Vicente Deleón.

P'yon had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch slider from Guy Kooijmans, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Uruguayans a 6-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for P'yon.

"I felt good up there," said P'yon. "I saw the ball well."

Germantown is 29-47 and Ogallala, with the loss, 39-37.
