Hurricanes Best Rocketeers in Pitching Duel
|
The Cape Coral Hurricanes got a magnificent performance from pitcher Tom MacKissock, who muffled the Seattle offense en route to a tight 2-1 Hurricanes win at Boeing Dome. At 21-21, Cape Coral is in 6th place in the Silver League.
The Hurricanes grabbed the lead in the top of the third. With two out, Elliot Reid hit a solo home run off Virgil Dickerson, putting Cape Coral in front, 2-0. For Reid, it was his 1st home run of the season.
"We're all smiles after that win," MacKissock told the Cape Coral Herald.
