Sea Dogs Paste 4-2 Loss on Ducks
|
The Sea Dogs grabbed a win, 4-2, at Ducks Park, overcoming a fine effort from Long Island pitcher Hyo-jin Son. Son went 6.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. The win puts Maine at 3-1.
Bill Benson, the 19-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Benson contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Maine up, 1-0.
Benson told a Maine Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
